MOCAKIDS Author Meet & Greets

MOCAKIDS Author Meet & Greets highlight Asian American authors and illustrators, bringing families together through author-led read alouds, movement activities, songs, crafts, and book signings. Stay tuned for our next one!

MOCACREATE

Come paint, build, craft, or collage – use familiar materials, or experiment with new ones! Inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and local artists, MOCACREATE explores different themes every month.

Twice a month on Saturdays from 2 – 4 PM. Click to see upcoming workshops!

Share your finished projects with us by tagging #MOCACREATE on social media, or emailing images to us at education@mocanyc.org. MOCACREATE workshops are designed with families in mind, but all are welcome!

Family Festivals

Family Festival: Lunar New Year

MOCA’s Family Festivals bring together diverse communities from the 5 boroughs to celebrate and share important Chinese and Chinese American holidays.

Family Festivals are fun-filled days of celebration with: storytelling, drop-in arts and crafts, teaching artist demonstrations, special guests, and more! Together, we celebrate Lunar New Year, the Dragon Boat Festival, and the Mid-Autumn Festival.
