1897年，Chu Gam Fai创办了旅顺楼。它是以中国北方的一个港口城市的名字命名的，现在叫旅顺口区。它是唐人街第一家获得酒类执照的餐厅，并在位于勿街7-9号的二楼和三楼的同一位置经营了80多年。

这家餐厅以其正宗的中国装饰而闻名，以镶嵌珍珠的红木桌子、红灯笼、枝形吊灯和进口广东柚木家具为特色。餐厅利用二楼作为一般用餐区，并保留了三楼作为举办私人聚会、宴会、礼仪晚宴和婚礼的场所。
